God Has Spoken

God Has Spoken deserved a fee increase for the 2023 serving season after a career-best year led by brilliant sprinter Ghost Who Walks and classic-bound 2yo Ancient Guidance.

Ghost Who Walks has emerged as his leader for prizemoney ($440k) and wins (10) for trainer Neville Parnham and owner Colin Loxton.  They also combined to wins 8 races for earnings of $1.19 million with God Has Spoken before his retirement to Rivercrest Park.

God Has Spoken is a powerhouse 16.3hh son of champion sire Blackfriars and was successful at black-type level as a two, three, four and five year-old from 1400m to 2100m.  “He was a lovely racehorse,” Parnham recalled. “He had a pretty powerful finish and so has Ghost Who Walks.

“He has never shirked it and has improved every prep.  I trained God Has Spoken and his dam Death Knock.  I’ve had all her progeny and they’ve all won – Playing Zeus (Playing God), Holy Ghost (God Has Spoken) and this guy.”

Ghost Who Walks won his first black-type in the LR Beaufine Stakes (1000m) at Belmont in July and he heads a growing list a multiple city winners by God Has Spoken including Holy Ghost, Savage One, The Verdict, My Mate, Tiff Has Spoken, etc.  Overall, God Has Spoken has sired 36 winners of 84 races in his first three crops for earnings over $2.64 million.

Ancient Guidance is a black-type winner-in-waiting following two late-season Belmont juvenile victories by a combined 7 lengths.  He will return for a spring campaign targeting the LR Belgravia Stakes (1200m) on October 28, LR Fairetha Stakes (1400m) on November 11 and culminating in the G2 WA Guineas (1600m) on November 25.
